ADAMA in Brazil announced the launch of Apresa, a superior pre-emergence herbicide for various products, which has an exclusive combination of active ingredients Flumioxazin + S-metolachlor.

The main focus of this product is soybeans, which are increasingly vulnerable to the weeds Digitaria insularis and Eleusine indica. These two weeds damage the proper development of the crop and need to be controlled even before emergence. These weeds occur throughout the crop cycle, but it is in the early stages of growth that they have the greatest impact on productivity. As a result, effective management before emergence is necessary so that the producer does not face reduced productivity later.

This launch is part of a series of investments by this company in the field of innovation to bring modern agriculture to Brazil.

ADAMA describes itself as a company “completely focused on technology, investing more than US$10 million per year in research and development in Brazil alone”.

Apresa herbicide has an exclusive T.O.V formula that makes it easier to use to “make the farmer’s life easier”.

Abley, Director of Herbicides at Adama, concluded: “We consider Apresa a revolution for the farmer, because its formula combines two active ingredients with very different properties, in high concentration, and as a result, the product It achieves uniqueness that is easy to use”.
