The use of palm oil and infected parts of the palm tree and its introduction from other cities have caused the introduction of the fawn beetle pest in Kerman province since last year.

Due to its aggressive power and high generation, the palm weevil pest can cause up to 100% damage to the palm, and its tracking is done based on visual monitoring, observing symptoms, and using sex pheromones specific to this beetle.
