Experts from the advance information office of the country’s plant protection organization visited the vineyards of Abhar and Khorramdara cities in Zanjan province with the aim of investigating the density of the population density of the hair fly pest.

A group of experts from the advance information office of the country’s plant protection organization, Mrs. Dr. Esadi and Mrs. Nourbakhsh, visited the vineyards of Abhar and Khorramdara.  


Ms. Dr. Esadi, the head of the non-active defense group of the country’s plant protection organization, stated on the sidelines of this visit: with the aim of checking the population density of the banana chain pest in the vineyards of Abhar and Khormadreh counties, it was visited and in this regard The meeting of the technical committee of herbal medicine of the province was held.


Ms. Dr. Esadi, while explaining the surveys conducted on the state of the vineyards in the province, said: The surveys showed that the density of the hairy chain pest was not significant and it is not considered as a limiting factor for growth in the visited orchards. Rather, one of the main factors limiting growth this year, the occurrence of severe temperature fluctuations, caused the gardens that had problems in terms of operations (pruning and nutrition management) and garden hygiene to stop growing.


  He emphasized on the continuous monitoring of the vineyards and said: In the mentioned meeting, it was noted that if the first adult insect is observed, the members of the surveillance network will track and monitor the branches in order to find the eggs and exterminate them. In addition to this, it was emphasized to fill the tree legs and use toxic solution in the tree legs according to the instructions sent.

It should be mentioned in addition to this, a visit was made to the pre-information stations of grape bunch eating pests and apple worm.
